Dragon Lily Tattoo is proud and excited to be the home of the "FREE TATTOO" program. Our “FREE TATTOO” program is a great way for you to get ink without dipping into your pocket. Many people have taken advantage of our “FREE TATTOO” program. Most have earned a single tattoo, but a few have really taken off with it and earned a complete sleeve or a backpiece without spending a cent!

A common question we get is “how can I get a tattoo without spending any money at all?” The answer is that there are a couple of ways to get free ink.

The first, and probably the most common and easiest way are referrals. Dragon Lily Tattoo loves referrals so much that we reward people for telling their friends about us. For every friend that gets a tattoo we will reward you with 20% of what that friend paid for their tattoo; so if they got a $200 tattoo we credit you with $40 towards your tattoo. Many people are using our referral system to build credit towards a sleeve or a large backpiece while others are using it to get a smaller one sitting tattoo…all for no money out of their pocket.

Another way to use our "FREE TATTOO" program is to have a tattoo party. As the person inviting the other people you are the “Host” and your artwork and tattoo are totally free. How it works is easy and really quite simple; you invite 4 or 5 of your friends to get tattoos. Each of their tattoos will cost about $75-$200 depending on the size and detail of the image. We try to meet with everyone before the party to get an idea what they want and get the artwork done before the party. The tattoo parties are held here in our shop, usually on Sundays. We have our own music or you can bring your CD’s or ipod playlists that plug right into our sound system. We also have wireless internet and access to quite a few good take-out restaurants right in our area. Everyone has had a great time at each of our previous tattoo parties and we look forward to having a great time with you and your friends.

To help you refer people we have created a "$20.00 off" coupon that you can hand out to your friends. There is a space on the back for your name. This helps you to refer people as well as helps us to keep a track of who refers who. You can have as many of these coupons as you think you can hand out; just ask for them when you come in.

We are excited to offer one more way to get free ink. We currently are training an apprentice, and part of that training includes applying tattoos to willing participants. So during the month of July and into August we will offer free tattoos to those willing to let someone develop their skills. Our apprentice does very nice work for someone who is just starting out. There are a few guidelines related to these tattoos; they are all to be no bigger than 3"x 3", they should all have good outline, they should all have some shading and finally they should all hopefully have color. Some examples of tattoos not being done by an apprentice; Sleeves, back pieces, cover-ups, letters on fingers, portraits, and extremely detailed pieces. Although there is no charge for the apprentice to do your tattoo there is a $20 set up fee paid to the shop. If you really like the work done by the apprentice you can show your appreciation with a tip.
